Wonderful condo, great location. Taxi rides to any location aren't particularly expensive. Tuk-tuks are practically free.
We were here for the first time in 2019.
Nothing has changed, everything is great.
We stayed here during the long Buddhist Lent holiday. We booked the room through Agoda. This is a condo, and some people get good rooms, some don't. Some book directly with the owner, some through agencies, so the room types vary. There are several buildings, from A to G,
surrounding a large swimming pool with many zones to play in, which the kids loved.
All buildings are connected to the pool, so it's not crowded.
We got building E, 4th floor, probably directly owned. We got it for less than 1000 baht, but the room was excellent. It was clean, the air conditioning was cold, the water pressure was strong, and it had kitchen equipment, an electric stove, plates, bowls, spoons, and forks. The bed was comfortable, and there was even a washing machine. There was private Wi-Fi in the room with a strong connection, no need for shared Wi-Fi. It's close to food options and a 7-Eleven in front of the building. Parking is available on-site.
I've been to another similar place nearby where you weren't allowed to park in the building; you had to park on the street, and accessing the pool required a key card, which was very inconvenient.
This place is much better. Parking might be a little difficult because it's crowded. Overall, it was great. I'll definitely come back again.
For the price you pay, the location is actually fine. There is a 7/11 right below the resort and a pharmacy with a wide range of products nearby. The beach is a bit of a walk away, but perfectly manageable. People complaining about the distance are simply too lazy to walk. It might be nice if they started building up some fitness.
Externally, some maintenance could be done, but there is staff present to clean the pool, water the plants, and the like.
The room is an absolute disaster. Truly scandalously dirty. Those signs of wear from other guests are all well and good—understandable—but the landlord really should do something about the moldy wallpaper, the stinking, unsightly shower, and other unpleasant things. The room was supposed to have been cleaned on July 19th. The cleaner probably took a nap instead of cleaning. Perhaps the landlord considers this normal and lives in such conditions herself. It certainly won't be for lack of money. She earns enough from her guests to give the room a major makeover. The only upside is that we got a fan with it and a new TV that unfortunately couldn't be mounted because it was too big. So the photos don't match the real thing. Very disappointing. Not necessarily worth repeating.
